Playmakers Youth Theatre provides engaging and exciting practical sessions, created for young people.

Our sessions enable participants to boost their confidence and encourage new ways of thinking. All while creating theatre by the participants for the participants.

Youth Theatre Members will:

  • work with our dedicated and devoted theatre specialists.
  • develop skills such as creativity, collaboration, improvisation, storytelling, physical expression and the ability to adapt to anything.
  • experiment with theatre in new and exciting ways.
  • devise their own work.
  • perform on stage at Theatre Royal Winchester and at the Outdoor Arts Festival, Hat Fair (available for those who participate in both autumn and spring terms).

We ask members to inform us of all relevant medical information, accessibility requirements and any other relevant information to ensure we can provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for all.

If you would like to discuss how we can best support you/your child further or would benefit from any of our information in an alternative format, please contact shian@playtothecrowd.co.uk or call 01962 840 440.
