Peter Pan audition opportunity
RARE Productions is giving young people ages 7-21 in Winchester an exciting opportunity to take part in a professionally-led musical production of Peter Pan.
Peter Pan will be performed at Theatre Royal Winchester from 30 Jul 2025 to 1 Aug 2026.

An adaptation of J. M. Barrie’s timeless tale of the boy who never grew up.
When the Darling children are whisked away by Peter Pan to Neverland, they find themselves caught in an epic showdown between the Lost Boys and the notorious pirate Captain Hook.
Don’t miss Hook’s pirates facing off against the Lost Boys in this high-spirited musical packed with classic songs and clever dialogue.

Auditions 1
Date: Sun 1 Mar 2026
Venue: Theatre Royal Winchester
12.30pm – 2pm (7-12 years old)
2pm – 3.30pm (13-21 years old)
Auditions 2
Date: Tue 3 Mar 2026
Venue: Theatre Royal Winchester
5pm – 6pm (7-12 years old)
6pm – 7pm (13-21 years old)
All performers must be at least 8 years old by the time of the show.
Audition process
- The auditions are free for everyone (fees apply if offered a role – see below)
- Auditions are fun and provide a great way to gain confidence and communication skills
- You do not need to book a time slot – just arrive anytime during the audition times listed above
- You do not need to prepare anything
- The audition takes around 30 minutes and you will be taught a short excerpt from a song, a short movement routine and will be asked to read from a script
- You do need to wear comfortable clothing
- You only need to attend one of the audition days
- Parents are not permitted in the audition room, but are asked to remain on-site to supervise their children before and after the audition
