Work Experience Day
Join us at Theatre Royal Winchester for a mixture of hands on, interactive and informative activities led by industry professionals.
A one of a kind work experience opportunity for young people aged 14-25, condensed into half a day!
The day is aimed at those interested in all aspects of the performing arts sector including performing, design, technical, operations, marketing, fundraising and Outdoor Arts.
- Work with our technical team to prepare the stage for the show that night at Theatre Royal Winchester
- Explore how we programme work at Theatre Royal Winchester before choosing a show to go into our 2023 season
- Discover how Hat Fair has become a leading Outdoor Arts festival in the UK before contributing to our 2023 festival
- Hear from a professional actor and learn how they manage their work, including touring shows
- Learn how our theatre managers prepare our spaces for audiences
- See how our box office works before getting the chance to sell tickets on our systems
- Experience how our marketing department create campaigns for our annual pantomime.
