Musical Theatre (7-11 yrs)
Our stimulating weekly sessions encourage participants to explore the world of classic and contemporary musical theatre in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
Playmakers Musical Theatre groups are given the opportunity to not only develop their skills and understanding of musical theatre, but also work as an ensemble to make excellent theatre in indoor and outdoor settings as an integral part of Play to the Crowd's work.
Current Youth Theatre sessions will take place on stage at Theatre Royal Winchester with numerous measures in place to make the venue COVID-19 Secure.
Our Youth Theatre provides young people, aged 7-16 years, stimulating weekly sessions which encourage participants to explore the world of classic and contemporary theatre in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
There's no audition process, and we welcome everyone of all abilities, experiences and backgrounds to come along and join in however they wish.
For Summer term 2021, all Playmakers Youth Theatre and Musical Theatre groups will perform at Hat Fair - Winchester's Outdoor Arts festival - on Fri 2 July.

Each term runs for 10 weeks with no sessions during half term.
Registration is on a first come first served basis and fees depend on session/age group.
We are keen to ensure that no-one misses out due to financial constraints so we offer a number of means-tested bursaries.
