Top Hat returning for 2022!
Playmakers’ Top Hat Competition returns for 2022 and we are looking for current undergraduates and recent graduates from University of Winchester to apply to take part and perform at Hat Fair 2022 in Winchester.
Hat Fair, also run by Play to the Crowd, is the UK’s longest running festival of Outdoor Arts, taking place on the first weekend of July across Winchester and attracting audiences of over 53,000 to experience the best outdoor performance from local, national and international artists.
Playmakers, along with Hat Fair, is committed to discovering the best new talent and work hard to ensure that emerging artists are given the platform to create and push forward bold and entertaining new work through our Top Hat Competition.
If you have an idea for new work, or something already created that you would like to develop and share to new audiences and a panel of industry professionals, then we encourage you to apply by following the link below.
