About Hide and Seek
A spin-off from the UK's first festival of pervasive games, Hide&Seek make social games and playful experiences.
Alex Fleetwood is a producer and games designer. He founded Hide&Seek with Gideon Reeling in 2007 after attending Come Out and Play in New York and believing it was the future, man. As well as Hide&Seek he works with artists and broadcasters on lots of things, including The Eternity Man, a film opera for Channel 4, and The Soho Project, an ARG for the London Games Festival.
Holly Gramazio curates the Sandpit, Hide&Seek's monthly pervasive gaming night. The rest of the time she designs her own games, pervasive and otherwise; helps other people and organisations to design theirs; writes short stories about the London Underground; and bakes quite a lot of cakes. She recently completed her PhD in online fiction. More information about her projects is available at Several Bees.
Justin Pickard is the Playmakers community person. Having worked behind the scenes on "massively multiplayer forecasting game" Superstruct, and contributed to UK version of Wired as an editorial intern, he's looking forward to applying his interests in participation, collaboration, and digital media.
