How Do I Get Involved?

However you like!

You can comment on anything you find here; you can come along and play at one of the upcoming games; you can talk about different aspects of the game (either on the forum at Ludocity or elsewhere); you can even run the game yourself, using existing rulesets or variations of your own.

What Is Playmakers?

Playmakers is a joint project from Hide&Seek, NESTA, and ThinkPublic. It's like three projects for the price of one! We are making a new game, a film about The Sandpit and social gaming in general, and we've got this lovely new website to document everything interesting that happens between now and the big launch at the Hide&Seek Weekender on August 1.

This team wants to work with YOU. The Sandpit community is full of smart, talented, people (like YOU) - all of whom have at least one idea, one talent, one thought that can be thrown at us to help make the game better. We have made it very easy for you to to get involved - and all offers will be welcomed and responded to.

Together we can make something that builds on the wonder of games like Journey to the End of the Night, Cruel 2 B Kind and The Go Game. It will be the joint creation of the entire Sandpit community. Go on. It will be fun.

Thanks and love from

Holly, Alex, Ivo, Matan, Rohan and Justin

Scoop! @ 2morro09

At 2morro09, we ran three rounds of the Scoop! The game seemed to go down well, and - looking back - there’s our edited highlights, a video from the event organisers, and some wicked photos from Samuel Cho;
